As a precautionary measure and out of respect to our clients, masks and gloves will be worn by makeup artists.

• Face masks and gloves worn during all services by makeup artists
• We wash our hands and utilize hand sanitizer before each client
• Sanitizer is reapplied after touching hair, phone, watch etc.
• Brushes and tools are sanitized between clients
• Powder based makeup is sprayed with Isopropyl Alcohol between clients
• Liquid products such as mascara, lip gloss and concealer are never applied directly to the face (No double dipping)
• Disposable applicators such as lipstick wands, eye liner brushes, sponges and mascara wands are used when needed

 Standard Practices:

 At McCormick Makeup, we take pride in maintaining personal hygiene, clean workspace, disinfected brushes and tools.
• Spot Cleaning: Brushes are sprayed with disinfectant, wiped and dried. This method is a great way to disinfect in between clients.
• At the end of day, we take it to the next level. The entire makeup kit is deep cleaned.

 Deep Clean:

• Gloves are worn while deep cleaning tools.

• Brush bristles are fully cleaned with soap and water, air dried then the entire brush (ferrule and handle) are disinfected with <70% Isopropyl Alcohol.
• Palettes, compacts, tubes, pots, lash curlers, tweezers and all cosmetics caps are disinfected with alcohol.
• Tools are always placed on dry, sanitary surfaces. (Never in sinks or on bare counters)
• All makeup is returned to the kit, ready to go for the next client
